Robert McEwen, MBA, CIC
President

Robert has more than thirty years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career at the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) where he worked for eight years as a senior financial analyst and liquidation oversight manager. While at TDI, Robert conducted financial analysis of insurance companies to ascertain solvency and supervised the liquidation of some of the largest insurance receiverships in Texas. Robert has been with The Parks Group since September 2003 when the Austin office commenced operation. He has been President of The Parks Group since 2020. He has years of experience underwriting all lines of business. He attained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2005 and is currently more than halfway through his Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Robert graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with both a B.B.A. and M.B.A. He is a former Board Member and Past President of the Texas Surplus Lines Association (TSLA). |

Pauline Sippel

Originally from Rochester, New York, Pauline obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oswego State University in 2000 and has since attained her AINS, AU, ASLI and CIC designations. Pauline began her insurance career in 2008 at Arch Re Facultative Underwriters in Connecticut before moving to Atlanta to work for an MGA. In 2011, she began working for Maxum Specialty Insurance as an Underwriter in their Binding Division. After 5 years, she decided to make the move to Texas in late 2016 to work for The Parks Group. Her product knowledge includes Commercial Property, Casualty, Excess, Liquor Liability & Inland Marine and her experience spans 18+ years in the commercial E&S industry at both the MGA and insurance company level.
